 Growing up in Austria, surrounded by the enchanting aroma of freshly baked pastries, my path to becoming a chocolatier was paved with family traditions, passion, and a deep love for culinary arts. Here’s how I followed in my ancestors' footsteps and embraced the art of chocolate-making.

 

My journey began in my family’s pastry shop, a beloved establishment first started by my grandfather. For decades, our shop was a cornerstone of the community, known for its exquisite pastries, cakes, and, of course, chocolates. As a child, I spent countless hours in the shop, watching my parents and grandparents transform simple ingredients into mouthwatering creations. I wanted to create chocolates that not only honored my family's traditions but also incorporated my own innovations and commitment to sustainability. With the support and encouragement of my family, I started Dallmann Confections, dedicated to crafting exquisite artisan chocolates.
